		<description>Umm, it&#039;s not an application server and it doesn&#039;t claim to be one. But it&#039;s not a web server either. Yes it does have Sun&#039;s java based http server built in but that&#039;s about it. It has a lightweight servlet container and people who do not need the entire J2EE stack augment it with other lightweight containers like Spring, Pico etc. All this is quite well known in the community, basically Tomcat is not there to satisfy the J2EE itch.</description>
